Trucking Along to the First Dollar

Local food truck Toby’s Dog House has been on the scene in and around Manistique since 2018. Owned by local resident Toby Smith, the food truck serves up a unique menu including specialty hot dogs, paninis, sandwiches, and even tacos.

Celebrating one year of business Labor Day weekend, the food truck has been a hit with local residents and tourists – staying open last winter, closing for only two days. Attending local events and seeing the community come together is one thing Smith said he enjoys about his new business. Showing support to the westside of town, Smith said he made a partnership with Good Neighbor Services, parking in their parking lot most days.
