We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who made this year’s Folk Fest possible. The businesses, volunteers, and vendors involved have supported the event for years and continue to play a vital role in its ongoing success.

We are especially grateful for the dedication and hard work of the Folk Fest Committee: Kalyssa Beebe, Joan Ecclesine, Victoria George, Cathy Rhode, Kim Shiner, Taylor Treece, Paul Walker, Jennifer Watson, and Kara Ziminski, whose year-round commitment and planning bring this event to life.

A sincere thank you to all the businesses that helped sell Folk Fest raffle tickets and keep the event engaging and community-driven. Limestone Federal Credit Union and Wheaty’s Pub went above and beyond with raffle sales. We also appreciate the support from Barr Team, Bostique, Cedar Street Café, Dr. Shelly Baker, Elks Lodge, Habitat for Humanity Hiawathaland, Jack Pine Lodge, Linda’s Bread Box and Sporting Goods, Manistique Federal Credit Union, Manistique Senior Center, Paul’s Plumbing and Appliance, Putvin Drug Store, Shiner Technologies, St. Vincent de Paul, The Mustard Seed, Treats & Things, and Upper Crust Deli. Also a special thanks to Jack’s Fresh Market for allowing us to sell tickets in-store.

We are also grateful to the businesses who generously sponsored at the Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels, including State Savings Bank, Carmeuse, Kewadin Casino, Graymont, Nicolet National Bank, Putvin Drug Store, Savings Insurance, Capital Business of Manistique, Superior State Agency, McDonald's, Delta Disposal, Clyde’s Drive-In, and Schones Chiropractic.

We also recognize and thank the individuals who personally sold raffle tickets: Kalyssa Beebe, Joan Ecclesine, Victoria George, Cathy Rhode, Kim Shiner, Paul Walker, Jennifer Watson, and Kara Ziminski. We also thank everyone who purchased tickets. Your contributions not only fund prizes but also help sustain Folk Fest for years to come.

In addition, we are thankful for the many individuals who volunteered their time. These individuals come from Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital, Limestone Federal Credit Union, the City of Manistique, Schoolcraft County, Schoolcraft Tourism & Commerce, and Carmeuse.

We deeply appreciate Director of Public Safety Tim Russell and his team for ensuring a safe event and Nick Bosanic, Superintendent of the Department of Public Works. A special thank you also goes to electricians Nathan Berg of NLB Electric and Maintenance and Paul Roemer of Roemer Electric for providing essential power to both vendors and performers.

We are thankful to the Pioneer Tribune for producing the Folk Fest buttons, promoting the event, providing signage, and highlighting this year’s Folk Fest Hero, Linda Levin. We also want to acknowledge The Advisor for designing this year’s Folk Fest flyer and Kyle Nygard of Polar Sound and Light for managing sound throughout the day. We extend our thanks to the Manistique Merchants for use of their speaker system throughout downtown, to the Lake Effect Community Arts Center for graciously allowing use of their building on short notice, and to Zellar Sanitation and Desjarden Excavating for their help with utilities.

Thank you to all the vendors who fill South Cedar Street with unique goods, delicious food, and helpful community information. Folk Fest would not be the same without those who travel from across Michigan to take part.

And finally, to the performers who shared their talents, and to every volunteer, supporter, and behind-the-scenes helper, thank you. Folk Fest continues to thrive because of the people who come together each year to celebrate, contribute, and create something truly special.
