The Manistique Paper Chase will begin on Pearl Street near the Manistique Senior Center, continue on Arbutus Avenue and South Cedar to US-2, following the pathway under the US-2 bridge then following US-2 to Econolodge (5K) or Tannery Road (10K) then return on the boardwalk and end at the Manistique Marina.

*Please note the Manistique Boardwalk has suffered significant damage over the past two years due to high water levels on Lake Michigan. There will be flagged areas and short detours along the route to pass by the damaged areas resulting in running in sand/grass areas for a short period of time.
Registration packet pick up is on Friday, July 8th from 5-7pm or Saturday morning from 7:30am to 8:30am at the Manistique Senior Center (101 Main Street, Manistique)

RACE BEGINS AT 9:00AM ON SATURDAY, JULY 9TH, 2022
Awards will be given to overall winners.
Medals to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in all 5K divisions.
Medals to Top Five 10K male and female runners.

Enjoy a commemorative Paper Chase T-shirt for the first 200 paid participants. We will do our best to accommodate your t-shirt size request. For participants who register on the day of the event, T-shirts will be available while supplies last. Past year T-shirts will also be available at no charge!

Liability Release: By registering and submitting your payment you hereby release the sponsoring group, their members, agents, or employees, and any person officially connected with this competition, from all liability whatsoever whether this liability arises from bodily injury or death to yourself or others, or damage to property owned by yourself or others, arising from your participation in, travel to and from, or presence at this competition. Further, you grant full permission to any of the foregoing to use your photo or any other record of the event for legitimate purposes.
