The Schoolcraft County Economic Development Corporation recently presented a “First Dollar”, and the Manistique Merchants’ Association presented a first-year membership, to Troy’s Auto Repair.
Troy Bassett is the owner of Troy’s Auto Repair, having purchased the old Fannin Oil property in 2015. Bassett is a third-generation mechanic, and he and his team offer full-service automotive repairs, as well as plows. “I’m excited to be able to offer my services to the residents of our area,” said Bassett. “We’ve seen great support since we’ve opened.” The Merchants’ Association meets the first Tuesday of the month, at 8 a.m., in The DownTowner. The Schoolcraft County EDC meets the first Wednesday of the month, at 3:30 p.m., also at The DownTowner.
