Jim’s Welding Under New Ownership, Gets First Dollar
A welding and fabrication business that has been serving the Upper Peninsula since the 1990’s, new owners Mike and Jessica Columbus are bringing innovation to the welding industry to the next level. With just under 25 years of experience, Mike wanted to make sure that residents and businesses still had access to welding and machining services when the business went up for sale.
They provide an array of services including repairs to ATVs, boats, trailers, snowmobiles, axel parts along with off-site mobile welding such as brush mowers, forestry equipment and machinery.
Mike and Jessica are enthusiastic about connecting with the community and finding out what is needed in the area in terms of welding. They even do custom work! They recently completed an outdoor fireplace for Blue-Mystique and custom wrought iron spindles for another client.
Our community is built on small business so we invite you to reach out to Jim’s Welding & Machine at 906-341-7601, visit their website at www.jims-welding-machine-llc.business.site/ and follow them on Facebook where you can watch some action packed videos of them doing what they do best.
